The start of TAT takes place in the town of Deva and the competition stretches all over Hunedoara county.
If you’re coming from western Europe (we know you will be many) the best route is Vienna-Budapest-Arad-Deva (660 km).
Romania is part of the EU so you don’t need a visa but you will need to provide an ID / Passport at the Hungarian-Romanian border.
You will need to buy a Ro-Vignette (road tax) for your cars at the border.
